The Dutch Geological Society tries through its Journal Grondboor & Hamer; organization of study-courses and excursions to increase the knowledge of geology, minerals, rocks and fossils. She tries to let the amateur geologist take knowledge of science and tries to be a network for earth scientists and geologically interested people. In conversations with the government and other organizations she tries to clear the importance of geology for the society. The Dutch Geological Society was founded in 1946. She hopes to welcome you as a member because more members mean more influence. We invite you to visit our website
